Playing style: I love slams!

At what age did you start playing bridge?

I started playing bridge at 19. Before that, I used to play a (very different) variant called “floating bridge” or “Singaporean bridge”, which is much simpler: you just bid, the highest bidder wins, and then you get to call a card and whoever holds that card is your (secret) partner until that card is revealed. After I started playing contract bridge, I never played that variant again. 😂

If you had to encourage someone to play bridge, what would you say?

Just go for it! But be careful, it’s addictive!

What is your best bridge memory?

This would be my whole preparation leading up to the Asian Games. I felt I really gave it my best shot and became a better person through this experience.

What inspired you to become a bridge influencer?

Honestly? I got bored one day. But that said, I wish there was someone making content like mine when I was just starting out!

What are your dreams and goals as a bridge player?

I hope to medal at the World Championships one day! (I’ve already medalled at World Youths and been to the World Championships, so this has to be the next step, right?) But honestly, just being able to play to the best of my ability, and making the best of my ability better over time is good enough for me.

What do you like most about Funbridge?

I like how we can customise the robots to our liking—if only partner would be like that. 😜
