In 2019, Funbridge organised the WBF Challenge in collaboration with the World Bridge Federation, entitling the top 3 players to free entry to the upcoming World Bridge Games held from 21 August to 4 September in Salsomaggiore Terme, Italy.

To RAYMOND J. 🇳🇴, KIN L. 🇭🇰 and DAVIDE C. 🇮🇹

They finished first, second and third respectively in the 2019 WBF rankings on Funbridge and will thus enjoy free entry to the 2020 World Bridge Games taking place in Salsomaggiore Terme. They will be allowed to participate in the Pairs event with the partner of their choice!

2020 World Bridge Games

The 16th edition of the World Bridge Games will be held in Northern Italy, more precisely in the city of Salsomaggiore Terme (province of Parma) renowned for its baths in the city centre and their sodium-rich water.

2019 WBF Funbridge Challenge

The World Bridge Games are organised every four years in the Summer Olympic year.

The competition is open to national teams (one team per NBO) and national pairs (unlimited number) in the following categories:

  • The Vanberbilt Trophy – The Open Teams
  • The Torlontano Trophy – The Women’s Teams
  • The Seniors Teams
  • World Mixed Teams Championship
  • The Open Pairs
  • The Women’s Pairs
  • The Seniors Pairs
  • The Mixed Pairs
