2025 eBridge Cup: A new bridge experience
Get ready for the biggest online bridge tournament ever! Co-organised by Bridge Base Online (BBO) andFunbridge in partnership with the WBF and the ACBL, the eBridge Cup brings together thousands of players from all over the world, all levels combined, for a 100% online competition.
When will the event take place?
• Dates : September 1st – November 28th , 2025 – Registration opens August 1st.
• Platforms: Bridge Base Online (BBO) & Funbridge
• Open to All
• Prize Pool: $15,000
• Bridge federations will award points and titles to players
Competition format
→ Qualifiers
Dates: September 1 – 28, 2025
Format: Robot games, 112 tournaments, 12 deals each
Qualification: Scoring in MP, top 500 players qualify per platform based on best 10 scores
→ Semi-Finals
Dates: October 1 – 30, 2025
Format: 90 tournaments, 10 deals each
Qualification: Top 100 players per platform proceed to Finals based on best 10 scores
→ Pre-registration to finals
Dates: November 3 to 12, 2025
Each platform will send the top 100 qualified players a link to pre-register for the Finals.
This mandatory pre-registration allows qualified players to provide both their BBO and Funbridge account details, so their results can be linked across both platforms during the Finals.

Dates: November 17 – 30, 2025
BBO : 50 deals (November 17–23)
Funbridge : 50 deals (November 24–30)
Qualification: Top 20 players per platform proceed to Finals based on best 10 scores
‣ Winners: Top 20 based on the combined average score on both platform

Dates: October 1 – 30, 2025
Format: 120 available tournaments of 12 deals

Top 5 junior players from each platform will receive a 1-year free premium subscription on both platforms.
On each platform:
1st: $1000
2nd: $300
3rd: $150
4th/5th: $50
4th/5th: $500
6th–10th: $200
20th/30th/…/100th: $100 each
BONUS: All players completing at least 20 boards receive a free 3-month Bridgerama magazine subscription.
