Bridge Mania: masked, passionate and unpredictable

Hello everyone! I’m Bridge Mania, and I want to share my passion for bridge with the largest audience possible.
This game is amazing. Each decision counts, each deal is a puzzle, and the more experienced you become, the more you discover its richness. If you already know me, you’ve probably seen my mascot: King Bridgiocchio, my signature on YouTube!
Interview with Bridge Mania

How did you start playing bridge?
I got interested in bridge when I was 18. I already played card games with my mum (Briscola, Scopa, Tre Sette…), and what immediately hooked me up is the card play technique. Here each decision matters.
Before even going to the club, I loved learning. Then for my birthday, I received a book on bidding covering several topics including uncontested auction with silent opponents. It made me realise how complex the game is and pushed me to go further: I joined a club, took lessons and played my very first deals with other bridge players.
What made you want to become a bridge influencer?
I want to share my passion with as many people as possible because I want to make this great game known to the entire world.
What would you say to encourage someone to take up bridge?
It’s a game that takes a lifetime to master and creates real social connections. Each deal comes with its dose of deduction and suspense. You have to decode the bidding, the lead, the discards. You wonder whether the finesse will work or if others dared to bid higher and… made the contract.

What are your dreams and objectives as a bridge player?
To master this game up to the squeeze!
Why do you keep a mask on?
It’s part of my personality, I like keeping a low profile. I think that preserving privacy gives you more freedom in your actions.
What do you like most about Funbridge?
What I prefer is that you can keep track of your activity with statistics. So you know how you’re playing over time.
Bridge is a school of deduction and suspense. You learn every day and you progress deal after deal, right up to the end of the squeeze.
