Luc answers our questions
At what age have you started playing bridge? And how did you get into it?
I first played bridge when I was around 10. My grandfather taught me the rules. I already loved card games and I took to bridge right away. I went to the Fnac and bought the Gotobridge 2010 CD-ROM. I have played a lot with it for 2-3 years before joining France youth teams.
What is your best bridge memory?
Probably the title of U21 World Champion in Lyon. We had only just qualified. A match with lots of suspense and an unbelievable title in the end!
What do you do outside of bridge, both professionally and personally?
I just graduated as an engineer. My main hobbies are chess, which I play for relaxation without really trying to improve, and running. I’m preparing for my first marathon in 2024.
Check out his YouTube content!
His passion for bridge pushed him to create his own YouTube channel on which he covers bridge games, shares his analyses and gives advice. For example, he commentated on several tournaments run on Funbridge like the BIC World Tour – Asia Edition. 👇
Extra tip from the expert:
The key to making progress is to play against players better than you and force yourself to think about “nothing” during card play.
I thought Luc was much older! It seems like he’s been playing Funbridge for a long time.
