FAQ – The Big Series Tournament 2023
The Big Series Tournament is a special tournament held on Funbridge.
Its aim is to gather all bridge lovers in an online tournament from 15 to 21 December 2023.
Come pit your skills against players from all over the world, enter The Big Series Tournament rankings and earn Funbridge Points!
After the final, participants will get ranked according to their level. In other words, based on their series in the game mode “Series tournaments” (NEW, 11, 10, …, 2, 1, Elite).
13 rankings will therefore be available and the top 10 players in each series will receive prizes. Whatever your level, you have a chance to win! 😉
The Big Series Tournament will be held from 15 to 21 December 2023 on the Funbridge app.
It will be split into two phases.
The qualification phase will be taking place from 15 to 18 December 2023 and include 100 tournaments of 6 deals scored by MPs.
The final will be taking place on 19 to 21 December 2023 and include 8 tournaments of 4 deals scored by MPs.
The tournament will be available on Funbridge at any time (France time zone) from 15 to 21 December 2023.
The qualification phase will be taking place from 15 to 18 December 2023 and include 100 tournaments of 6 deals scored by MPs.
You have to play at least 3 tournaments.
Once this threshold is reached, your top 3 tournament results will be used to determine your ranking.
To qualify and make it to the final of The Big Series Tournament, your average score must be 53% or more.
The final will be taking place on 19-21 December 2023 and include 8 tournaments of 4 deals scored by MPs.
You have to play 8 tournaments.
Then a ranking will be attributed to players based on their average scores for these 8 best tournaments.
The Big Series Tournament rankings will be made available after the final.
Each tournament of the qualification phase costs 15 Diamonds. Tournaments of the final phase are free.
Diamonds are the virtual currency used on Funbridge. They give you access to special events such as this one, Funbridge Points tournaments and official tournaments licensed by our partner NBOs.
The number of Diamonds you have left can be found at the bottom of your screen at any time.
You can see a + next to the number of Diamonds you have left. You can buy Diamonds here.

Here are the prizes at stake for each Series:
Prizes:
1st: 500 Diamonds
2nd: 300 Diamonds
3rd: 300 Diamonds
4th-10th: 50 Diamonds
51st-100th: 50 Diamonds
You have to play at least 3 tournaments to appear in the provisional ranking list of the qualification phase.
And you have to play 3 tournaments to appear in the provisional ranking list of the final.
At the end of the qualification phase and final, you can access the world rankings on the tournament homescreen.
Select the filter My country to view the Serie rankings.
Positions in the ranking lists after the final will determine the winners.
You can click on My tournaments on the homescreen of The Big Series Tournament at any time.
You get Funbridge Points for each The Big Series Tournament played.
These points allow you to enter the Funbridge Points rankings.
