Surprise Double: Stay on Course

Based on the scenario below, bid and play the deal following the advice of Marc Kerlero, certified teacher of the French Bridge Federation. A great way to test your knowledge!
You are sitting South, dealer North, N/S vulnerable. Teams.

What does your partner’s Pass mean? What else could he have said?
When the transfer is doubled, we must take advantage of the additional calls we now have at our disposal to specify the number of opener’s Spades, but also if he wishes to be declarer or not. After all we now know that there is a possible danger coming
from a Heart lead (this is by the way the reason why the Double of a transfer should only be used with caution, with five very good Hearts and, if possible, an outside entry if the Ace of Hearts is missing).
