The 2014 team championship 1st<\/sup> quarter just ended. First, we would like to apologize for announcing an 11 rounds quarter when it actually was actually a 10 round quarter (as all upcoming quarters).<\/p>\n

We know now the first four qualified teams! Congratulations to them!<\/p>\n

Here they are: Le club des cinq<\/a> (the 2013 team championship winners),\u00a0Normale<\/a>,\u00a0les journalistes<\/a> and\u00a0Armada<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These four teams had already qualified during the previous edition: Normale and les journalistes during the 2013 championship first quarter (1st<\/sup> et 3rd<\/sup> respectively),\u00a0Le club des cinq during the second quarter (1st<\/sup>) and Armada during the fourth quarter (3rd<\/sup>).<\/p>\n

Agenda<\/span><\/p>\n

The second quarter will start on Friday, April 25 at 10:00 am (GMT+1)<\/strong> and will last 10 rounds<\/strong>. You have until this date to:<\/p>\n

– Create your team<\/a> if it is not yet.<\/p>\n

– Manage your team<\/a> if you want make substitutions.<\/p>\n

– Know all the details<\/a> about this second quarter.<\/p>\n

Terms<\/span><\/p>\n

– 20 deals<\/strong> tournaments<\/p>\n

– Argine<\/strong>: the new game engine<\/p>\n

– By pair<\/strong> ranking rounds<\/p>\n

– The player\u2019s distribution in tournaments will be based on the player\u2019s handicap<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Reminder : the team championship, how it works:<\/span><\/p>\n

– Teams are made up of 5 players<\/p>\n

– Every week until the end of the year, each team member will play a dedicated open tournament (diferent from his team-mates’ ones)<\/p>\n

– Each member of a team rank in his tournament will be converted into points<\/p>\n

– The sum of the points scored by each team member every week will allow to rank the teams.<\/p>\n

– The 2014 team championship is divided into four rounds, one per quarter<\/p>\n

– The 16 winning teams (one per quarter) will compete at the end of the year to identify the best 2014 team.<\/p>\n
