Therefore it is high time to <a href=\"http:\/\/funbridge.com\/team\/index.asp?lng=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">create your team<\/a> (if not done yet), <a href=\"http:\/\/funbridge.com\/team\/index.asp?lng=en&amp;act=myTeam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">manage your team<\/a> (replace players e.g.) or join one of the many<a href=\"http:\/\/funbridge.com\/team\/index.asp?lng=en&amp;act=incomplete\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">incomplete teams<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Team Championship in broad outline:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>3 players<\/strong> minimum and <strong>5 players<\/strong> maximum per team.<br \/>\n&#8211; Teams are split into <strong>4 divisions<\/strong>, the Champion Team being the one finishing first in Division 1.<br \/>\n&#8211; No more slack periods! <strong>You play all year long!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Find out more below or on the <a href=\"http:\/\/service.funbridge.com\/team\/index.asp?lng=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Funbridge website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><center><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">2016 CHAMPIONSHIP RULES<\/span><\/center><center>Note: the Team Championship is only available on Funbridge for Windows PC.<\/center><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"color: #f39c13; font-weight: bold;\">Time Schedule<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Team Championship will start <b>on Friday 5 February 2016 at 10am<\/b> (UTC+1).<br \/>\nIt will be held over the whole year 2016 and will be divided into <b>4 quarters<\/b> (see the detailed <a href=\"http:\/\/service.funbridge.com\/team\/index.asp?lng=en&amp;act=calendar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Time Schedule<\/a>).<br \/>\nEach quarter consists of <b>10 rounds<\/b>, which are themselves split into <b>5 tournaments of 20 deals<\/b>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"color: #f39c13; font-weight: bold;\">Team Line-up and Entries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A team must be made up of <b>3 players minimum<\/b> and <b>5 players maximum<\/b>.<br \/>\nA team <b>automatically enters<\/b> the Championship as soon as it is made up of 3 players.<br \/>\nIf a team is not complete (5 players), it will lose the number of tournaments corresponding to the number of missing players in the team per round.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"color: #f39c13; font-weight: bold;\">Team Breakdown<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the openning, teams will be split into <strong>4 divisions<\/strong> based on their results at the previous Championship.<\/p>\n<p>By removing the disbanded teams, we will split the teams as follows:<br \/>\n&#8211; The first 16 teams will join Division 1<br \/>\n&#8211; The following 64 teams will join Division 2<br \/>\n&#8211; The following 128 teams will join Division 3<br \/>\n&#8211; The new and remaining teams will join Division 4.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of each quarter and based on their results, teams will be likely to <b>go up<\/b> or <b>down<\/b>, thus ending up playing in another division.<\/p>\n<p>The 2016 Champion Team will be the one finishing first in Division 1 at the end of the year, i.e. at the end of Quarter 4.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"color: #f39c13; font-weight: bold;\">Rounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A round starts on Friday at 10am and ends on the next Thursday at 10am (French time).<br \/>\nEach team member must play one tournament per round in the quarter.<br \/>\nThe rank of each team member in his tournament will be converted into points.<br \/>\nThe total of points scored by each team member in each round will allow to rank teams against each other in each division.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/service.funbridge.com\/team\/index.asp?lng=en&amp;act=rules\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here<\/a> to read the full and detailed rules.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Year means new Team Championship!
