    How did you get into bridge?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    My father taught me when I was 10 years old. I\u2019ve played a lot with my brother Bas<\/strong>, especially in the Juniors category, and we\u2019ve enjoyed representing the Dutch Junior team. The Channel Trophy<\/strong> was one of the most pleasant tournaments we took part in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Which achievement are you most proud of?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    The second place at European Championships and Setting up bridge lessons<\/strong> in a week for the Dutch bridge federation to make bridge popular<\/strong> among young people. My specialism is more teaching than winning\u00a0bridge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    What\u2019s your best bridge memory?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    A nice memory is when we played a tournament together, with the whole Drijver family<\/strong>. I was the most popular partner because my brothers were too competitive. Bob refused to play with Bas<\/strong>, so I did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What\u2019s your favourite game mode on Funbridge?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    One-to-one challenges. It is quite exciting to get challenged by J\u00e9r\u00f4me Rombaut. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Most of Tom\u2019s family plays bridge. Of course, his brother and partner Bas<\/strong>, but also his other brother Bo<\/strong>b, who revealed in an interview that he already made his opponents cry<\/strong> around the table during bridge games when he was younger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Hoe ben je met bridge in aanraking gekomen?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Mijn vader heeft het mij en mijn broers geleerd toen we een jaar of 10 waren. We zijn begonnen met veel rikken, boerenbridge en hartenjagen. Maar bridge blijft toch het leukste. In het begin speelde ik vooral met mijn broertje Bas en samen hebben we veel en met plezier in het Nederlands jeugdteam gespeeld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Wat is je nationale ranking?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Dat zou ik niet weten. Ik speel geen competitie meer. Ik geef voornamelijk bridgeles en ben veel bezig met mijn website en YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Welke zeges heb je op je palmares?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Diverse malen Nederlands kampioen bij de jeugd en tweede op het EK te Wenen en alle overwinningen behaald met Bas Drijver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Wat is je leukste bridgeherinnering?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Het lesgeven aan kinderen vind ik het leukste en ook het meest waardevolle. Een leuke bridgeherinnering is wel dat we een keer met de Drijvers een viertallentoernooi hebben gespeeld. Dit ging natuurlijk niet vanzelf omdat Bas en Bob het niet eens werden over de gespeelde spellen en ik werd ingezet als buffer om met Bob te spelen en Bas met mijn vader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Op welke prestatie ben je het meest trots?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Het opzetten van \u2018Bridge in een week\u2019 voor jongeren. Hiermee leren kids in \u00e9\u00e9n week bridge door een intensieve cursus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Wat is je favoriete spelmodus op Funbridge?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Uitdagingen \u00e9\u00e9n tegen \u00e9\u00e9n vind ik leuk. Toernooien ga ik nu spelen en ik ben erg benieuwd hoe dat zal zijn op Funbridge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
