He, who describes himself as \u201cpragmatic, honest and analytical\u201d, capable of \u201cprocrastinating for hours between tomato sauce and cream sauce\u201d as well as \u201cmoving to another country in a flash\u201d, has made bridge his number-one passion. His best memory? Having \u201cdeliberately deceived Pietro Forquet (who was playing opposite Versace) with his initial lead, causing him to go down in a \u2018solid\u2019 game contract.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

What has kept you interested since the start of the COVID crisis?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I spend more time cooking, especially taking the time to try out new recipes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can you remain steadfast?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I consider myself a fairly disciplined person in general, which helps with the social distancing efforts that we all have to make now. If I ever made a bridge psyche, everyone \u2013especially my partner \u2013 would be misled!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your advice for not becoming a stick-in-the-mud?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Seize a good opportunity as soon as it presents itself, without waiting for something even better. In my opinion, \u201cthe best is the enemy of the good\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What annoys you most?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hypocrisy and harassment, humiliation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you have a lucky-charm or lucky-number?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

No. To a large extent, I believe that you create your own luck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
