At the head of ECatsBridge with her companion Mark Newton, the current communications manager of the World Bridge Federation organizes numerous charity events, proving that her greatest asset is undoubtedly her generosity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

What do you have a passion for?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Walking with my partner Mark in the middle of all the old stones standing here (on the Orkney archipelago, editor’s note) and wonder about their meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What recent act of generosity proved that you had your heart on your hand?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Many people know that we do fundraising for charities by organizing bridge events with ECatsBridge. Over the years, we have notably raised more than \u00a31,000,000 (over \u20ac1,100,000) for Children in Need<\/em> (the BBC’s charity association, Editor’s note).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you somebody who sticks to the rules?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yes! What’s the point of breaking the rules or cheating?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Your advice for not being left behind?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just do your best! And accept that you can be a follower rather than a leader, either in your professional or personal life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you like teasing other people?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

No, I don’t have a sharp mind and I don’t like to tease or be teased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What annoys you most in others?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Selfishness and greed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Do you have a lucky charm or lucky number?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I have never been superstitious. But I still keep a little \u201clucky mole\u201d in my car that belonged to my mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, what has given you a hard time?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I love to cook, and not being able to personally go to stores during the COVID-19 health crisis to select my ingredients was driving me crazy! Stores deliver, of course, but it’s not the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
