How series tournaments work is not always easy to understand<\/strong> for newcomers to Funbridge. That is why we have decided to focus on new visual elements<\/strong> providing players with clear information on their status<\/strong>. On the Series Tournaments main page, you can currently find a lot of information, mainly textual, which takes too much time to read<\/strong>. The addition of visuals<\/strong> optimises comprehension<\/strong> as these are the first elements that the human eye catches and interprets<\/strong>. It takes less effort for the brain<\/strong> and visual information remains engraved longer in memory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, we have been asking ourselves: which information can be clarified and, above all, conveyed in a more visual way?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very quickly, our attention has been drawn to two very important elements that are the core of series tournaments but also hard to understand: forecast<\/strong> and bonus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

We have decided to present this data in graphs <\/strong>to make it easier to read<\/strong> and add a touch of modernity and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the very first sketches on paper to the last pixels on Figma – the interface design platform we use -, we have gone through several test phases<\/strong> to simplify the visuals as much as possible<\/strong> and find the most appropriate graph for the information provided. <\/p>\n\n\n

    Your most recent tournaments<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    A new graph with the tournaments played during the ongoing period is now included on the Series Tournaments main page. It allows you to evaluate your performance<\/strong> and, above all, to view instantly which tournaments have been taken out of the calculation of your average score<\/strong>. Because, as you know, every time you play 10 tournaments, your lowest two scores are not taken into account. Everyone has the right to a second chance \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Each bar represents a tournament that you have played. The colour used shows if you are above or below relegation\/promotion thresholds. The tournaments shown in grey are not used for the calculation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
