It is possible to go much further in the description of all sorts of hands under the condition of adopting a system that combines transfer and double relay responses. Attention, it requires that you and your partner are on exactly the same page, or you can experience disasters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-spacer stk-block-spacer stk--no-padding stk-block stk-1cf2e3f\" data-block-id=\"1cf2e3f\"><style>.stk-1cf2e3f{height:10px !important}<\/style><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Preambule<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We will limit our study to 1&#x2665; to 1&#x2660; responses. Rebidding 2NT after the response of 1 of a major shows balanced or semi-balanced hands in the 18-19HCP range, without four Spades. Its main objective is to find a contract in opener\u2019s minor, either at game or slam-level. Over this mandatory 3&#x2666;, responder then shows his singleton via a technique already encountered in other sequences and that we call \u201clower-higher\u201d: 3&#x2665; singleton in the other minor, 3&#x2660; singleton in the other major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-spacer stk-block-spacer stk--no-padding stk-block stk-36cc176\" data-block-id=\"36cc176\"><style>.stk-36cc176{height:10px !important}<\/style><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/funbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Deal-10-18-1024x375.png\" alt=\"Deal 10\" class=\"wp-image-76585\" style=\"width:550px\" width=\"550\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Singleton Diamond.<\/strong> In this sequence, East always has five Clubs. <strong>It\u2019s a good exercise<\/strong> for hand reconstruction: four Spades, not four Hearts, one Diamond, therefore at least five Clubs<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/funbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Deal-11-16-1024x375.png\" alt=\"Deal 11\" class=\"wp-image-76586\" style=\"width:550px\" width=\"550\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Singleton Spade.<\/strong> This time, the respective lengths of the two minors are less well defined. With this in mind, opener must not forget to offer Clubs as trumps.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/funbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Deal-12-14-1024x375.png\" alt=\"Deal 12\" class=\"wp-image-76587\" style=\"width:550px\" width=\"550\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>With Ace-third in Spades, it is necessary to go past 3NT and play in the best minor-suit fit &#8211; at game level if North signs off in 5&#x2663; or 5&#x2666;, slam if North suggests it. 4&#x2666; sets Diamonds as trumps, 4&#x2665; is for Clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-spacer stk-block-spacer stk--no-padding stk-block stk-bfe1edf\" data-block-id=\"bfe1edf\"><style>.stk-bfe1edf{height:10px !important}<\/style><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Comments<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This puppet also makes it possible to stop in 3 Diamonds, a bonus of the system:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/funbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Deal-13-13-1024x375.png\" alt=\"Deal 13\" class=\"wp-image-76589\" style=\"width:550px\" width=\"550\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>The best chance to score on the plus side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-spacer stk-block-spacer stk--no-padding stk-block stk-56106f6\" data-block-id=\"56106f6\"><style>.stk-56106f6{height:10px !important}<\/style><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2\/ Two conventions to remember<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If responder has a five-card major and a singleton in one of the two unbid suits, he will, conventionally, show his singleton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>a) Singleton in the other major<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s very simple, responder \u201cnaturally\u201d repeats his major.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/funbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Deal-14-13-1024x375.png\" alt=\"Deal 14\" class=\"wp-image-76591\" style=\"width:550px\" width=\"550\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/funbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Deal-15-13-1024x375.png\" alt=\"Deal 15\" class=\"wp-image-76592\" style=\"width:550px\" width=\"550\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>This precision makes it possible to avoid playing in 3 No-trump when necessary and sometimes to prefer playing 4 of a major in a 5-2 \u201csemi-fit\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>b) Singleton in the other minor<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Against the basic logic, responder uses the puppet with 3&#x2663;, an exception to the rule.
