Philadelphia – Spring NABC 2018

The Spring NABC (North American Bridge Championship) sponsored by the ACBL (American Contract Bridge League) took place in Philadelphia last week, more precisely from 8 to 18 March.

It is worth recalling that the main tournament of this event is the Vanderbilt KO Teams. This trophy is named after Harold Stirling Vanderbilt (1994-1970) who won the contest twice in 1932 and 1940. The Vanderbilt was contested annually in New York as a separate championship until it became part of the spring NABC in 1958.

This year, Christophe Grosset, a member of the Funbridge Team participated in the event and is back with two exclusive interviews:

  • The interview of Paul Street, playing the Vanderbilt with Thomas Bessis, Frédéric Volcker, Cédric Lorenzini, Jean-Christophe Quantin and Nicolas L’Ecuyer (English subtitles available)
