April BP Circuit

April 2026 once again brought plenty of competitive action to Funbridge, with 13,076 ranked players on the Bridge Points Circuit. The month also saw the launch of the first edition of the Bridge Trophy, the new name for the BP500 knockout tournament, which brought together 2,435 players.
Bridge Points Circuit: tidou tops the ranking 🥇
The April Bridge Points ranking was won by tidou, also known as Philippe Bellosta, who finished first with 6,021 BP. The French player from Poissy takes the top spot in a circuit that remains highly competitive.
Bridge Trophy: a new name for a BP500 challenge 🏆
In April, the Bridge Cup changed its name to become the Bridge Trophy. This first edition of the BP500 knockout tournament opened on 13 April and brought together 2,435 players, ready to step into the arena of a competition where every victory brings them one step closer to the top.
The format remains true to its DNA: a knockout tournament where each match won lets players multiply their winnings with x5 Bridge Points, while also competing for Diamonds rewards. A demanding competition designed for players ready to make their mark deal after deal.

After several knockout rounds, victory went to Vodka47, also known as Martin Vodička, from Košice, Slovakia. He won the final against Jeter2452 with a score of 38 to 23.
The podium of this first edition also highlights OVDW and Thursday, both semi-finalists after strong runs in this new Bridge Trophy.
David contre Goliath: a highly popular free tournament ⚔️
Another highlight of the month was the free David VS Goliath tournament, which brought together 6,622 registered players. This event focused on a strategic opposition well known to bridge players: major-suit fit versus minor-suit fit for the partnership.
Open to all, this format gave players the chance to compete around a specific theme, while continuing to enrich the Funbridge competitive calendar with a tournament that was educational, strategic and community-focused.
Funbridge tournaments not to miss in May 📅
The Bridge Trophy will be back in May with a new edition of the BP500 knockout tournament. An ideal opportunity to string together victories and climb the Bridge Points ranking.
As in April, every match will be a chance to make the difference in a demanding format where consistency, precision and pressure management will be essential.

Another tournament to follow in May is the free BP100 tournament Balancing Bids Mania, which will start on 20 May.
This new event will invite players to challenge themselves around an original theme, while trying to score Bridge Points.
May will also feature several Beat the Star tournaments, with opportunities to face renowned players such as Dominique Fonteneau, Sabine Auken, Colin Deheeger, Nicolai H-E and Anne-Laure Tartarin. The perfect chance to challenge bridge references and test your game against high-level profiles.
Between BP500 competitions, free tournaments and challenges against bridge stars, May is shaping up to be another exciting month to keep collecting Bridge Points on Funbridge.
