masterclass Jacoby 2NT

Our ambassador Sofie Græsholt Sjødal is hosting her new Masterclass about Jacoby 2NT until 15 July.

This masterclass takes a closer look at the developments after the game-forcing Jacoby 2NT. It will help you better understand the main responses and follow-up bids, so you can use them more effectively at the table.

Whatever your overall bridge level and no matter how much you know about this topic specifically, come benefit from India’s expertise in a relaxed atmosphere where there is no « stupid question »!

But hurry up! This Masterclass will stop being available after 14 July.

Do you think it is difficult to find slams when you are strong and have a good fit in major to partner? Then Jacoby might be a good convention for you.

Let’s imagine that you have this hand:
AJ107
6
KQ1075
A52

With not a lot of agreements we often have to respond 4 spades to partner’s 1 spade opening, but we have a good hand, with a potential for slam. So, by being able to game force earlier with Jacoby 2NT, we show our support directly, and are not worried partner passed below game.

Maybe we are also so lucky that partner shows a shortness in clubs, and we can definitely try for slam.
