In providing our services, GOTO GAMES collects personal data from visitors to our website and from users of our applications. GOTO GAMES, as data controller, is committed to complying with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), French Law n°78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, and, where applicable to our users, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) and equivalent US state privacy laws.

3. PERSONAL RIGHTS
3.1 Rights available to you
Under Articles 15–22 GDPR, you have the right to: access your data; rectify inaccurate data; object to processing or request erasure; object to profiling; restrict processing; and receive your data in a portable format. You may also issue instructions regarding the retention, deletion, and communication of your personal data after your death (Art. 40-1, Law 78-17). You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you additionally have the right to know what personal information is collected, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising), to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. GOTO GAMES honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out request where legally required.
3.2 How to exercise these rights
Contact us electronically at [email protected] or [email protected], providing your name, postal address, email, and customer reference if available. We will respond within one month of your request, extendable by two months for complex or high-volume requests. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
4. RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA
Your data may be shared with two categories of recipients: partners who process data as independent controllers, and subcontractors (processors) who act solely on our instructions.
GOTO GAMES engages processors for: secure payment processing; technical data hosting; collection of customer feedback; delivery of commercial communications; advertising delivery and mediation; audience measurement and analytics; and consent management.
5. SHARING OF DATA WITHIN THE 52 ENTERTAINMENT GROUP
To support group-wide fraud prevention, security monitoring, and portfolio-level analytics, GOTO GAMES may share pseudonymized personal data with other business units of the 52 Entertainment group. Pseudonymized data is data from which direct identifiers have been removed or replaced with a reversible key, such that it can still, in principle, be linked back to you by the receiving party using additional information held separately. It remains personal data under GDPR.
Each business unit receiving such data acts as an independent controller for its own subsequent processing. Purposes for which pseudonymized data may be shared include: detecting and preventing fraud or abuse across multiple platforms; aggregate business analytics and reporting; and compliance with group-wide security obligations.
6. TRANSFERRING DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION
Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, GOTO GAMES ensures an adequate level of protection through one of the following mechanisms, as applicable:
| Activity | Destination | Transfer Mechanism |
|---|---|---|
| Sharing data with social network platforms | United States | EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (where the recipient is DPF-certified) or Standard Contractual Clauses |
7. DURATION OF DATA RETENTION
- Prospective and current customer data: retained for 3 years from last login.
- Cookies for audience measurement, targeted advertising, and social sharing: retained on your device for up to 180 days.
- Purchase invoices: retained for 10 years (statutory financial record-keeping requirement).
- Pseudonymized data shared within the 52 Entertainment group: during the lifetime of the active account of the user, after that – anonymized.
8. COLLECTION OF DATA FROM MINORS
GOTO GAMES does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals below the age of digital consent applicable in their country of residence without appropriate authorization from a holder of parental responsibility. This threshold is 16 under GDPR by default but may be as low as 13 in certain EU Member States that have exercised the derogation under Art. 8 GDPR.
9. AI-ASSISTED GAMEPLAY (ARGINE)
Funbridge uses an automated system called Argine to act as your virtual bridge partner and opponents. Argine operates in two parts:
- Bidding is governed by a fixed set of bridge-bidding rules and conventions; it does not involve machine learning or adaptive modeling.
- Card play uses a model trained on historical bridge contracts to select statistically strong plays. This training data does not include player-identifiable information — it reflects patterns from played hands generally, not the identity or account of any individual player.
Argine processes your in-game moves (bids and card plays) during a session to play its own hand and respond to yours; this is necessary to provide the core gameplay you have signed up for (performance of contract). Your individual gameplay data is not used to train or retrain Argine's models.
Because Argine is an automated decision-making system that you interact with directly during gameplay, we disclose its presence and role clearly wherever it appears in the game (see Section 3.1 for how this relates to your rights regarding automated processing).
10. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
We use a consent management platform (Axeptio) to obtain your prior consent before any non-essential cookie is placed on your device. Until you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies operate.
We use the following non-essential cookies, subject to your consent:
| Vendor | Purpose | Data Collected |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Audience measurement — pages viewed, time spent, navigation patterns | Client identifier, usage/interaction data, approximate location (aggregated) |
| Microsoft Clarity | Session recording, heatmaps, and click tracking to identify usability issues | Session identifier, on-page interactions, mouse movement and click data |
This data is pseudonymized: while it does not directly identify you by name, it is linked to a persistent identifier capable of reconstructing your activity on our website and is treated as personal data under GDPR.
You can accept, reject, or customize your cookie choices at any time via the "Manage cookies" link in the site footer. Your choice is stored for 180 days, after which you will be asked again.
For more detail on how each vendor processes data, see Google's privacy information and Microsoft Clarity's FAQ.
11. BUSINESS PROSPECTING
GOTO GAMES will only send you commercial offers by electronic means (email, SMS) where you have given prior consent, in accordance with Directive 2002/58/EC and applicable national implementing law. If you are already a customer, we may contact you about similar products or services without additional consent, consistent with the "soft opt-in" exception, unless you have objected. You may object to receiving such communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting customer service. If you are a US resident, you may also opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes as described in Section 3.1.
