Bidding after Pass

As you know, it is common to open light in third position. But are you familiar with how the responses change? The developments are based on Drury, SEF version.
A light opening in third position

The opening of 1♠ in third position with only 10 high-card points is justified by the very good quality of the suit. Since opener may be light, the catch-all 1NT response can show up to 11 points after an initial pass, which allows the partnership to stop at a low level here, as opener has no reason to bid again with this hand.

I would like an expert opinion of 3 card raises.
Example

You open 1D and partner says 1H.
You have a problem.
Try 1NT with no spades
Try 2 clubs sounds like 5 4
Or hope partner has 5 hearts and say 2 hearts.
With some agreement the 3 card raise has some merit
Partner may have 5
If 4 3 he could scramble 8 tricks
Opponents may step in and go down
The important agreement is partner knowing the raise may be 3, does not say 3 hearts with only 4.
If he is strong enough for a game try he says 2NT.
What is the expert opinion of this common dilemma?
Sorry my example hand was too strong

That’s better now
1D 1H 2H? Or something else?
