Practice Deals
The ideal mode to progress by playing deals one after the other at your own pace without the stress of a bridge event.
The "Practice Deals" tournaments are perfect practice tournaments if you start playing
playing bridge or if you want to return to it after a period of inactivity.
They consist of one deal and offer an unlimited number of deals, thus allowing you to play whenever you want and at your own pace.
Both IMP and MP scoring systems are available. You don't know which one to choose? Here are the differences:
The MP system is used for tournaments in which a significant number of players play the same deals and you have to score better than other players. For example,
series tournaments on Funbridge.
The IMP (International Match Point) system is used for team tournaments or tournaments in which you have to reach the biggest possible margin compared to other players. For example,
tournaments of the day (you choose between IMP and MP systems) or challenges on Funbridge.
It is up to you to choose according to the tournaments you want to play!
Face the elites
Pit and rank yourself against the players from the Elite series, i.e. the best Funbridge players, and take this opportunity to analyse their play.
This game mode allows you to replay all the tournaments from the Elite series (
find out more about series tournaments).
Be careful! You will face the best Funbridge players. But fear not, other players won't be able to see your results.
Take this opportunity to watch how the Elites played. They will probably help you make progress and understand some
bridge subleties.
Two-player practice
Practise with your favourite partner on practice deals. Set the parameters of the deals yourself for a more targeted practice.
This is the only game mode of Funbridge in which you can play with another physical partner at the same time.
You practise with one of your Funbridge friends sitting North and South like at a real bridge table. Your two opponents are always managed by Funbridge artificial intelligence called Argine.
It has the advantage that you can select the area of the game you want to improve: from preemptive openings to opener's rebids and slam bidding. There is something for everyone!
