Minibridge
This game mode has been developed in close cooperation with the French bridge federation (FFB). It is 100% free and no subscription is required.
It will enable your students to learn about or work by themselves on bridge concepts like:
- • Making tricks
- • Playing with and for one's partner
- • Assessing one's strength
- • Playing with a trump suit
- • Communicating for reaching the best contract
Personal deal library
Accessible from the web version of Funbridge, the personal deal library is the ideal tool to prepare your lessons. Create or import your own deals, modify them freely (card exchanges, game rotations, imposed bids...), then save them for use in class.
Want to illustrate a specific theme? Compose the deal manually or let Funbridge automatically generate a deal adapted to this theme.
Have you played an interesting deal on Funbridge? Save it with one click to reuse it later. You can then share these deals with your students via a simple link, download them in PBN or DUP format, or even organize a private tournament around prepared deals. Exclusive tournaments for your students only
Create your own practice tournaments on the themes of your choice thanks to our deal uploading feature (.pbn or .dup files). Your students can put the theory they learn with you into practice and you can also discuss with them on the deals played via built-in instant messaging.
The game mode « exclusive tournaments » is ideal to have them revise between classes or when your club is closed for a long period of time (during holidays for instance).

Masterclasses
The masterclasses regularly hosted by bridge champions (Tom Drijver, Dominique Fonteneau, India Natt…) on Funbridge are the perfect illustration of the advanced use of exclusive tournaments. Blockage, discard, ruff, slam… Each masterclass explores a specific theme and includes:

- • Deals to practise the topic covered immediately
- • The correction of each deal in a video and in text format
- • A user-friendly chat to discuss after each deal
A library of commented deals
We put at your disposal a game mode including over 600 commented deals sorted by topic and level.
Since nothing beats practice, we made sure that you can play all of them. Indeed, you can access the commentary on the deal selected only once you have completed it. Of course, it is possible to play them again in case the result achieved is different from what was expected.
Practise with a partner
Our multiplayer game mode allows players to work on their communication with a partner or against other players live. It is even possible to play thematic deals in a « private table » mode: major fits, pre-emptive opening bid, slam bids…

We have been committed to promoting bridge for many years and we are convinced that this « lesson + practice » combination is ideal to give your students an appetite for learning bridge and to retain them over the years.
My experience with Funbridge shows that it is a great complement to bridge courses. When you download the app for the first time, you get a lot of explanations and you can choose your system or the one set by default. It brings you some useful experience (players must be encouraged to remember what the system implies before asking). Also, you can train yourself up a lot since you can play anytime anywhere. Another small plus is that you can run long tournaments and give prizes to motivate students.
I have three Juniors who have in less than two years progressed from absolute beginners to regular players in a club with adults and they often play above the average. Funbridge has definitely been a major support to help them achieve that level in such a short space of time.
In my opinion, the possibility to upload preset deals is an excellent tool for practising today’s lesson.
Even with very limited technical skills, the bridge teacher may rotate deals so that every student gets to practise the chore of today’s theme (say you practise transfers, the player should be either 1NT opener or responder, not opponent).
Exclusive tournaments with preset deals is an efficient way of practising.
